Hey, hey!

Howdy, all. Nicadeamas brought me here (just so you know who to blame, heheh!).

I'm a DoD:S player and mapper, and have been checking out forums where I can get and give level editing help and advice.

Unfortunately, I have this hobby called "work" that takes up an inordinate amount of my drinking/gaming/mapping time. Anyways, I'll be around, so...fair warning!

Welcome to Type 3!

Many of us around have our time taken up by work, so in that respect, you'll fit right in.

Re: Hey, hey!

I was looking over some posts in the level design section yesterday and...wow. Now I'm thinking you guys might find multiplayer levels with few moving parts kind of boring...

I went over to check out Sylvan's Jailbreak video on YouTube - skillful camera work! It turned me a little green after about ten minutes...

Re: Hey, hey!

haha, Nicadeamas is a wizzurd. Don't worry, the rest of us would be impressed with just about anything. Some of the most beautiful maps I've ever laid eyes on have been almost completely static.

hehe, I didnt make Sylvan, That's Tophattwaffle.
(Who is supposed to be kinda setting up a forums home here but has been to busy I think.)

It's not how many moving parts the map has, but it's design that I look for. Detail and design are like a home in my head. But then hackinging the system to do interesting things with I/O's is almost as fun as design. :t3biggrin:
