Hypothetical puzzle scenario

I was reading some of the SDK nuts tuts we have here and came up with the most on crack puzzle idea ever.

Would it be possible to do the following with standard entity work?

------

You come to a large hillside. Your next objective or whatever is atop the hill but there's no easy way up and an electric fence stands between you and a brisk walk up. There's a billboard nearby but you can't reach the ladder, try as you might. Then you spot an additional electric fence at the bottom of the hill. A wry grin crosses your face. Turning on the current by taking a pipe and sticking it between a gap in the fence to re-electrify the fence, you sprint into it at full speed and get blasted backwards and up, whereupon you hit the second fence that you couldn't have reached earlier. This, in turn, blasts you backwards into the billboard. Coming to a stop (and with some damage taken), you walk across a plank conveniently placed between the billboard and the top of the hill, where you walk briskly towards your next challenge.

------

I might do this in a side project of mine, along with many other bizarre ideas for gameplay. Anyone think this is doable?

EDIT: Whoops, I put this in the wrong section. This would be Level Design.

This is completely possible but it would be hard to get a player to figure it out so it probably wouldn't be the best thing.

.
Yeah, you can do it but the hardest thing in every puzzle is teaching the player how to figure it out. And you cant just leave it complex and actually make the player think... Nooooo, players cant think for themselves, thats why games have moved away from puzzles, like myst. and more into FPS RPG and strategy, where the player is fed information when he needs it and shown you to work every puzzle he comes in contact with.

Re: Hypothetical puzzle scenario

Puzzles in Resident Evil piss me off. The ones in Minerva Metastasis were pretty easy once you figured out what to do. I really only got stuck once. Twice if you count having to collapse the platform and crushing myself in the process XD

In any case, I thought an idea this wacky has a place in a side project I'm brainstorming for and working on intermittently, related to the mapping contest.

Exactly,
And If all else fails, make sure the player, can just shoot it or blow it up. ;)

Edit:
I love Resident Evil puzzles, and hate them all at them same time.
Memories of the days before you could edit any game files(PS2).
