Cool. I don't remember seeing this map before. looks like it could get pretty wild with 8 players or so.
Does CS GO have a deathmatch free for all gametype?

I think this idea should be more appealing for play

so max amount of blocks is 32 *8 = 256

instead of using func_breakables for the door areas, I'm gonna use func_door so they can be renewed, without using an extra entity

is 64 an ok door opening?

I assumed i'd posted this one already, but loving random maps lately or an

the 2 round bits with the dashed lines are going to be the same design as the others, but to cut down on data the hashed bit will be clear of moving blocks, but will be designed open somehow to allow vulnerable running accross

also still tempted by the water idea, down under to slow progress when blocks are all the way down

I'm estimating time to beta on the new one about 9 months

I dont think I understand the concept well enough to give any feedback.

64X64 is a nice size for a block but it will have to be abut 80 tall in order for a player to fit inside of it without crouching.

Re: Front lines

your looking at a plan view, of the block size, that's the underground layer

the paper one is side elevation. then plan view 3rd angle i think

unsure on how curved walls help with game play, in close quarters

queuing posts don't work on a side note "You cannot make another post so soon after your last."

Sounds like something to try out.
Shoot some screen shots when you got them.
We aught to try and get some kind of testing day set up where we all (meaning grab people who used to be here for a reunion) make a random map and play it with each other.
