CSS, Frames

I don't have easy Dreamweaver right now so, I'm trying to make fames and css myself
but I can't get the programs I have to get it to work.
What's wrong hurr? Just me guessing around. Teh Basics.
  Code:
<title></title>
<head>
</head>
<style>
}
#div id="s1"}
    position: absolute;
    background-color: blue;
    margin-top: 1px;
    margin-left: 1px;
    height: 200px;
    width: 1000px;
{
</style>
<html>
<body>
<div id="s1"></div>
</body>
</html>

Also, where and how do you add like the frames or the apDiv's?

Re: CSS, Frames

<html>
<style>
#divs1{
position: absolute;
background-color: blue;
margin-top: 1px;
margin-left: 1px;
height: 200px;
width: 1000px;
}
</style>
<body>
<div id="divs1">
</div>
</body>
</html>

You can put iframes anywhere like this <iframe width=300 height=200 src="index.php"></iframe>

Normal frames aren't used very often anymore. But you can look them up if you want.

Re: CSS, Frames

Coo,l "thank-you Sir",
I see I couldn't figure it out what it was.
Well I got sort of fond of the css/div's, I didn't really like the Iframes.
Is IFrames and frames the same thing?

Re: CSS, Frames

I've only used iframes to "include" external stuff in a website. for the most part you want css/divs. they're a pain to work with, especially when you start doing overflow stuff, but they're the "right" way to go, at least for the moment.

Re: CSS, Frames

Well I want to just add that you must place the pixel of the fames and balance it when it is multiple frames. It is very much needed because there are some sites that has an imbalance frames or sometimes overlapping. And by the way try to open your site to different browser so that you can see if it is balance or not.
