I've decided recently that I just don't have time to take on this additional project. I waited a little while to post this so I could be sure. I'm dropping this project, and putting my focus back on BOP. One source project is more than enough.

All of the images posted as "concept art" or "textures" are owned by juror #9. photos posted as reference are gathered from around the internet.

Aside from that, anyone can use any part of this project (ideas, map sketches, titles, etc) however they would like. If I find myself actually having the time some day, I may come back to this, but I doubt that will happen.

I know exactly how you feel. (But you knew that already.)
So now they know I know how you feel. And then I guess that means they also know I know they know we know what each other knows about the knowing of ..... know.... know..... yeah....

Cool idea though. Someday when we all own our own game company's I'm sure one of us will use it.

Tell ya the truth? Thanks to your "flash" of possibilities for this campaign Vec. With what i did with my photography to get to some of those concepts helped me lean to environmental concept art as a focal point. I do have many ideas with specific characters from L4D ie: the hunter art i did. Many are mental sketches currently. i just need time to get those onto my Wacom and get to work on them. I'll keep at it. As you with BOP.

I did see in there texture library in HAMMER a "decal" of a "screamer" character that didn't get put in the game, did anyone else see that? Maybe i'll develop my next art with that.

The Screamer is explained in the game commentary as being a cut enemy that would attract hordes when they spotted the player by running away and screaming. It was an interesting idea since it would put Survivors more on the offensive at times, but ultimately the horde attracting ability was integrated into the boomer vomit and the enemy cut from the game.
